Buildertrend ranks on Inc. Magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list for 2022

Buildertrend named among top workplaces for third consecutive year, boasting high employee engagement, enhanced benefits and inclusive culture.

2022 Inc Best Work Places

OMAHA, Neb. (May 10, 2022) — Buildertrend, an award-winning technology workplace, has been named for the third year in a row to Inc. Magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2022. With an engagement score of 93.94%, Buildertrend ranked among the top Extra Large Companies celebrated on the list.

As part of a prominent Inc.com feature, the list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of American companies that have created exceptional workplaces and company culture whether teams operate in person or remotely.

After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 475 honorees this year. Each company that was nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking. Inc. found that nearly nine of every 10 Buildertrend employees are highly engaged at work.

As Buildertrend continued to improve its employee experience following the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, leadership made a number of changes guided by employee feedback from the biannual, all-company BT Pulse survey.

In the past year, Buildertrend announced its hybrid and flexible workforce is here to stay and upgraded its Best Care Employee Assistance Program, which covers eight free sessions per incident with a licensed therapist. Buildertrend leadership also hired the first Employee Advocate, filling a role specifically dedicated to ensuring each employee is supported in the workplace.

In addition, Buildertrend launched the BT Rise Fund, an employee-supported fund to help address unforeseen financial or emergency events. The BT Rise Fund joins the existing Pick Your Perk program, which allows each employee to earn $1,200 per year toward a perk that best supports their lifestyle, including tuition reimbursement, childcare assistance, student loan repayment, health savings account or wellness dollars to support a healthy lifestyle.

Buildertrend employees also saw some changes to the calendar, as the company doubled its paid Volunteer Time Off to 16 hours, added three additional paid holidays to the calendar, introduced a monthly Technology Reimbursement for all employees and lowered monthly premiums on all health plans.

In conjunction with these feedback-driven benefits, a BT Pulse survey from December 2021 boasted an impressive 67.04 Employee Net Promoter Score.

“Buildertrend was built on the foundation that every success – no matter the size – be celebrated, that transparency be genuine and that passions be supported,” said Buildertrend CEO Dan Houghton. “It’s no secret here that Buildertrend’s success rests within its people. We’re redefining what it means to be a true people-first and supportive workplace and know that the best can only get better.”
